Jeepers bloody creepers…….Zara is killing me!!
The company has truly got its zest back. I have always loved Zara and managed to find some amazing goodies there. They’ve quite often been timeless pieces as they are so unique and drool-worthy. However, a couple of years ago it just wasn’t working for me. I had a couple of issues with the quality of items and the style just wasn’t anything special. Alas, this has all changed. The Fall ’15 collection is stunning! Absolutley gorgeous and absolutely dangerous if you are planning on being wise with pennies or wardrobe space.
As always, Zara, manage to take a standout piece from the designer world and make an almighty tribute. The perfect example of this for the Fall’15 season is the Tibi off shoulder poplin blouse. A beautiful piece.
The new Fall look book pages are incredible. They have embraced the 70’s look that is hitting us between the eyes this fall. Lovely rich colours and textures but all so wearable. The best bit (or worst, if you are on a capsule wardrobe mission) is that it is still only August. I chatted with my local Zara store manager today – he told me there is still a lot more to come and it’s looking good! Yikes.
So grab a cuppa or glass of Vino and prepare yourself to gasp and fill your online Zara basket quicker than Speedy Gonzales !!
The looks that are appealing to me at the moment……..
My wish list Zara Fall items that caught my eye……..
Sorry Visa card fairies, but these items are calling my name (very loudly!!)…….
What I have bought already……….
Absolutely adore this skirt. I love the A line mini in trend at the moment. I think there is a lot of outfit possibilities within this gem. The faux leather of this skirt is a good one. Great texture to it. It’s a man for all seasons as it works with summer bare legs as well as winter cozy covered up pins. The best bit……its $45!! I can easily wear this Bambino 45 times.Lol. I’m enjoying it at the moment in the sunshine. Great with sandals as well as trainers.

The embroidered jacket
I got my knickers in a right twist and drew up a list of reasons why I could not live without this jacket. I fell in love with the blue embroidered jacket that Zara had part of their summer ’15 collection. Sadly, this jacket never made it to the Canadian market. My desperation heightened when I saw Leandra Medine from Man Repeller blog completely rock it. They are available on eBay but at four times their original price. So, when I saw this gem on the Zara new arrivals page I ordered it quicker than lightning. It’s a beautiful piece. Looks more expensive than its $89 price tag. I know, I know, I don’t need another bloody jacket. But I don’t have any light pretty summer-ish jackets. It’s great worn over a tank and denim shots. More of a beautiful versatile top really? Whatever we are calling it….it’s justified and its a keeper! Absolutely adore it.

Let me know what you have your eye on in Zara. I know my lovely mates and the UK blogging crew will get better dibs on the collection than I will here in Canada. I’m still waiting for the Marant tribute lace up flats. Sigh….
